My client works within the technology industry and they are currently seeking a Project Manager
The Project Manager is a member of the Technical Delivery team. Our client works on some exciting, distributed projects at private and public sector organisations. You will need to be a problem solver who is content to collaboratively work with customers to advise them and drive customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that processes are efficient and cost-effective.
Skills
The following is a list of desired skills required for the role:
Ability to maintain high performance levels for service-related processes, and implementing improvement activities wherever necessary
Ensuring that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery
Developing a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of delivery
Taking accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, driving future demands and, measuring customer satisfaction
Recommending methods of improvement and seeing that actions are implemented on time for service delivery upgrades
Proficiency in leading both physical and virtual teams
Experience in dealing with third-party-provided services
Operational ability in a diverse environment
In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other disciplines related to service delivery
Strong organisational skills and deadline planning
Ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently
Solid resource planning and problem-solving skills
Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
The candidate must:
Have Technical IT pm ideally with an understanding of Hadoop/Big Data /infrastructure
Be willing to travel worldwide occasional
Hold a British/EU passport.
Be a UK resident/have right to remain
Benefits
The candidate will benefit from:
Salary: 40,000 to 60,000 per annum.
25 days leave exclusive of UK Bank Holidays.
Flexible working while not on a client engagement.
