Communications Officer (sd/co)

Our client is a well established organisation and are currently looking for a Communications Officer.
To assist the Marketing Manager in increasing the awareness and usage of the services and related brands and increase the use of public transport by:
- Exceeding customers' expectations through continually improving service features and quality
- Attracting new customers through an on-going comprehensive digital marketing and promotional campaign
- To ensure that the needs of the customer are at the forefront of all stakeholder activity
- Be a key ambassador for internal communications and identify ways of boosting staff morale
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Creating and scheduling content for digital platforms such as social media, digital ads, websites, and email in line with overall marketing plan and issues/opportunities as they arise.
Building and maintaining internal and external relationships to ensure service updates are up to date and clear for the customer
Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.
Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns.
Utilising a range of techniques including SEO and PPC.
Maintaining and updating social media and content calendars.
Assisting the Marketing Manager to manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
Liaising with external agencies including translators, artwork agency, website developers and external digital agency.
Managing a programme of direct email using the company's direct mail package and to maintain customer and prospect databases.
Assisting the Marketing Manager with the day to day management of the company website using the company's CMS.
To support the company's offline marketing campaigns with online support.
Monitoring and improving the usability, design and content of the company website.
Managing with the support of the Marketing Manager, the planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing and direct e-marketing plans.
Providing regular statistics and reports across all digital activity using a variety of stats and reporting packages.
Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
