Business Development Representative (sd/lg)

Our Technology based client are looking for someone to join their Marketing dept as a Business Development Representative.
Main Tasks and Objectives:
Understand what a target customer looks like.
Build a strong understanding of services, so that you can have a detailed conversation about services with potential customers.
To identify and proactively target end user customers that may require core services.
To contact potential customers via, telephone, email, and social media channels.
Arrange appointments for the BDMs with target customers.
Conduct regular sales campaigns.
Meet with set lead generation targets.
Identify and attend targeted industry events.
Assist with social media planning, strategy, and execution.
Use internal CRM, in order to capture lead generation progress.
Build and manage customer key information and ensure CRM data and marketing activities follow data protection regulations.
Ensure any incoming leads are dealt with correctly and in a timely manner
Required Experience & skill sets:
Experience in a lead generation role, preferably B2B technology
Excellent telephone manner
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, capable of presenting to leadership
Effective cross-team collaborator with the ability to work across multiple projects
Has similar experience in lead generation role in IT services, selling services such as IT projects, data cabling, technology helpdesk, on-site engineering (break/fix)
Self-starter, creative thinker & analytical
Has a genuine interest and knowledge of technology is essential. (IT services/Retail IT knowledge would be an advantage).
37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
