Reception Switchboard 6 month FTC

Our client is a very large legal firm in Cardiff city centre and they are looking for a well organised Switchboard Operator for a 6 month FTC.

Responsible for the day to day answering of incoming calls for the business in a prompt and accurate manner as determined by our Service Standards. The operative will assist and liaise as necessary with all staff in meeting their service requirements.

The operative will administer the e-fax provision making sure all e-faxes are sent to the required office to onward delivery.

 

Client Management

  • Delivery of switchboard services to internal and external clients within agreed KPIs and to a high standard.
  • Contributing to a monthly reporting pack to the required standard and on time each month
  • Building an excellent rapport with the client that includes, but not limited to, demonstrating a good understanding of the clients business and therefore knowing what matters to our clients.
  • Assist management to ensure all operational processes meet client specific audit and regulatory requirements.

Service Delivery

  • Contribute to processes within the team to ensure that they continue to meet the client needs and that they are being efficiently managed.
  • Working with your Team Leader to achieve relevant KPI’s for the teams that promote the behaviour required to move the business forward and deliver increasing levels of service to clients
  • Use the MI generated from the input of key data from national suppliers to monitor the performance of the portfolio and key contracts.
  • Work with all AFM’s nationally to make sure the correct services is achieved at each site.

The job holder will be an experienced Switchboard Operative, with experience within the private sector.

The holder must be flexible to support the needs of the business, coupled with a strong commitment and a passion for meeting the need of our internal and external clients. A friendly approach and professionalism will be key in this role.

Good analytical skills, comfortable with maintaining a focus on operational metrics and able to identify ‘hotspots’ and decide

where to apply focus.

The job holder will have customer relationship building skills and

the ability to build credibility externally and internally.

Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Computer literate and sufficient technical knowledge
