National Account Manager

Our client are seeking a Full-Time experienced National Account Manager at an exciting time in their business growth that will help them to build and maintain a strong and trustworthy relationship with key accounts.  Your role will be working closely with the Founder and Business Development Manager to maximise all opportunities within the accounts.




  • Set and monitor sales target
  • Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs
  • Maintain strong relationship with customers to ensure long-term success
  • Identify and attract prospective strategic customers
  • Ensure brand consistency (design, offerings or perspective)
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Collect and analyse sales data and trends
  • Liaise with sales and marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction rating, according to company standards
  • Stay up-to-date with internal and external developments, suggest new strategies to increase sales



This role is perfect for someone


  • Proven track record sales into food service sector
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting clients requirements
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel
  • In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Refine and implement the business strategy to ensure this maximises sustainable category growth opportunities and ensures that challenging sales, volume and profit objectives are delivered.
  • As a Key Team member, contribute to the wider strategic agenda, effectiveness, profitability and success of the Business. Provide a Vision for others to form key customers and suppliers, trade and non-trade, securing existing business and winning new. 
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • Proven work experience as a National account manager +5 years
