My client is a leading provider of financial services products.  They have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and influential Business Development Manager who has a proven background, ideally from a Financial Services arena.

The role will be split between product development and business development, will be based in Cardiff and cover the whole of the UK.

The Role

• Develop and influence product development
• Matching company capabilities to new industry products and pro-actively bringing those products on board
• Develop and produce marketing materials/online content for new products
• Drive the business forward through IFA development and potential clients by utilising your proven business development skills
• Utilise and influence your existing IFA contacts to gain additional referrals and promote the company brand
• To conduct seminars and attend industry related events

The Candidate

• You will have extensive sales experience ideally in a financial services arena
• You will have a slant for marketing and be familiar with multiple marketing methods and confident at collating information for marketing purposes
• You will be an experienced networker and be comfortable conducting seminars
• You will be highly enthusiastic about the promotion of the company brand and selling products
• You will ideally have an established IFA contact pool and have strong influencing skills with colleagues, IFA’s and clients

A salary of between £25,000 and £30,000 is offered along with commission and benefits package.
